IMFA Student Peg Killian Presenting Adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice”

Love great comedy, romance, drama? Have you ever wondered exactly how far it is from Pemberley to the village of Lambton? Well, join us for a treat!

Presenting a unique theatre adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice,” based on the classic BBC 1995 miniseries, adapted and directed by Peg Killian, IMFA graduate student, and featuring an eclectic cast led by Ao Arts, Avi Rude, Karen Stewart, Matt McEntee and Yannick Moutassie.  Join us in the University Club in Fogler Library. Regency costumes encouraged but not required! Shows start at 6 pm Wednesday July 31st and Thursday August 1st, or at 2 pm on Friday August 2nd. Each show will run approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours with an intermission. Refreshments will be available during the performances.

Each show seats 30. Tickets are $10 each and should be purchased in advance to reserve seats.  If interested, email peggy.killian@umit.maine.edu.  Tickets can be purchased by cash, check or through paypal. ALL ticket proceeds will be divided among the cast to thank them for all they’ve done!

And special event one week later, Saturday August 10th, a celebratory Thesis-is-Done party featuring live music from Pitch Black Ribbons, an acoustic Americana band, playing at the Rock & Art Shop from 5-7 pm! This event is free, and followed by the celebratory party at Peg Killian’s, 31 Ohio St, Apt 1 in Bangor.
