To all of last week’s presenting Intermedia MFA grad students, congratulations to hosting a successful Graduate Student Review. In case you missed it, all of the program’s students that are not currently in their thesis year, presented their work. The audience was also given an opportunity to ask the artists questions and provide written feedback. There was even Mexican food for those who arrived on time!

Presentations were diverse and dynamic. First year, Alicia Champlin, meditated in front of the audience with a live heart and breath rate monitor while her artwork was projected behind her. Wade Warman showed his humorous yet conceptually provoking automata and shared his plans for future creative explorations while Adele Drake, only beginning the program just this semester, presented a diverse and large body of work that ranged from painting to community projects and collaborations. Thanks to all of those who came out, watched, presented and participated!
