Dr. Alexis Hope is a designer who loves to create playful experiences that help people find joy, self-compassion, and connection with others to unlock their creativity.

Alexis spent a decade at MIT, where she received her PhD at the MIT Media Lab. She also has a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Washington. Alexis has worked on projects across a variety of domains — ranging from cameras for deep-sea exploration, creative learning technologies for children, artistic tools for zero-gravity environments in orbit, breast pump hackathons, low-cost ultrasound machines for providing prenatal care in areas with limited resources, and more. She is also a co-founder of www.focused.space, a company that helps people reach their personal and professional goals in community with others.
