CMCA Biennial Art Exhibition

Congratulations, to Assistant Director of Intermedia MFA Program Susan Smith for being chosen as one of the artists for the biennial exhibition for the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Out of five hundred submissions, thirty-four artists were chosen, representing seventeen Maine communities for the biennial exhibition. By jurors Nina Johnson-Milewski, owner, founder, and director of Nina Johnson Gallery, Miami, FL, and Kate McNamara, an independent curator and educator based in Providence, RI. This exhibition is scheduled to open in October 2020 and run through February 2021, CMCA will be dedicating all 5,500 square feet of display space to this exhibition.  This year will mark the 22nd edition of the CMCA Biennial Exhibition and an “Opportunity to view an incredibly diverse range of art practices reflected in the contemporary art field.” -Kate McNamara
